AQUA_SONIC

HYDRO-ACOUSTIC FEEDING SIGNAL

OPERATIONAL MANUAL ×
01 // Pavlovian Conditioning

Fish brains are highly neuroplastic regarding food. To establish the Auditoy-Gustatory Association, follow this loop:

  1. Start AQUA_SONIC. Wait 60 seconds.
  2. Introduce feed while the sound continues.
  3. Stop AQUA_SONIC immediately when feeding ends.

Repeat for 5-7 days. Afterward, the sound alone will trigger swarming behavior.

02 // The 400Hz Frequency

Why this tone? Water is dense. High frequencies attenuate (fade) quickly underwater. Low frequencies travel vast distances.

400Hz sits in the sweet spot for the Lateral Line organ of most freshwater and saltwater species (Bass, Tilapia, Trout, Carp), allowing them to "feel" the sound even in murky water.

Acoustic Impedance

PROBLEM: Sound reflects off the water surface. Playing this app through a phone speaker above the water transmits only 0.1% of energy into the tank/pond.

SOLUTION: You must bridge the medium.

Deployment Methods

1. Surface Exciter (Easiest): Press your phone or a vibration speaker directly against the glass (Aquarium) or plastic hull (Boat/Pond liner). The solid material acts as a bridge, transferring vibration directly to the liquid.

2. Hydrophone/Transducer (Pro): Connect a waterproof speaker (IPX7 rating) and submerge it. This provides 100% transmission efficiency.

3. The Jar Method (DIY): Place your phone in a glass jar, seal it tight, and partially submerge the jar. The glass transmits sound better than air.
